About Our Team

Mr. Salim KIGUNDU was born and brought up in the humble families of the rural community in Nakasongola district-100km from the main capital city of Uganda. This made him exposed to low livelihood standards due to poor health and economic activities.

He realized the idea of transforming the models of economic activities after he attained a Diploma in Education, Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning & Management.

In 2020, after managing and supporting community projects for over 20 years for youths, E-learning in schools, Agriculture Asset creation in refugee and host communities, he mobilized 5 community members to start SCLI as a CBO in the home district to implement the innovations for dissemination of information and skills for transforming models for economic activities.

Salim has experience in managing innovations for transforming community livelihood activities with skills in community engagements for funds mobilization, project monitoring, proposal and report writing.
